The good news is that keeping your VIGOROUS® portable espresso machine clean does not need to be complicated. A simple routine after brewing can help keep the machine ready for your next coffee.
1. Clean the Coffee Basket After Every Use
If you brew with freshly ground coffee, remove the used grounds after each preparation.
Rinse the ground-coffee basket thoroughly and make sure no coffee remains around the edges or inside the brewing components.
Coffee oils and fine particles can build up over time, so cleaning immediately after use is much easier than allowing the grounds to dry inside the basket.
2. Remove Used Capsules Promptly
When brewing with compatible capsules, remove the used capsule after your coffee is finished.
Do not leave a used capsule inside the machine for long periods.
This helps keep the brewing area cleaner and prevents old coffee residue from remaining inside the capsule holder.
3. Rinse the Brewing Components
Parts that come into direct contact with coffee should be rinsed regularly with clean water.
Pay particular attention to:
- the ground-coffee basket
- capsule holder
- lower brewing assembly
- removable accessories that contact coffee
Allow the components to dry before storing or reassembling them.
4. Keep the Main Machine Body Dry
The main VIGOROUS unit contains the battery, heating system and electronic components.
For the exterior, use a soft, slightly damp cloth rather than immersing the machine in water.
Avoid allowing water to enter charging ports, buttons or other electrical areas.

5. Use Fresh, Clean Water
The VIGOROUS water tank has a capacity of approximately 80 ml.
Using fresh drinking water helps maintain both the taste of your espresso and the cleanliness of the internal water system.
Avoid leaving water sitting inside the machine for extended periods when the machine is not being used.
When you finish your coffee session, empty any remaining water before storing the unit.
6. Keep Coffee Grounds Away From the Seals
Small coffee particles can sometimes collect around the edges of the basket or brewing connection.
Before assembling the machine, quickly check that the contact surfaces are clean.
This helps the parts fit together properly and keeps the brewing area tidy.
7. Let the Machine Cool Before Cleaning
